Terms & Conditions

Booking:

For all of our packages a non-refundable deposit will be required to secure your chosen party date and time. These amounts depend on the package booked and is at the sole discretion of Once Upon a Fairytale. The remaining balance is due 7 days before the party or event date by bank transfer, you’ll receive a reminder email in advance of the payment date. In the event a full payment is not received 7 days before the party it will regrettably be cancelled.

Parties or events booked with less than 7 days notice must be paid for in full at the time of booking. If payment is not received within 48 hours of booking the party will be regrettably cancelled.

Party venues at the sole liability and responsibility of the person booking the party which includes venue and equipment hire.

In some cases a travel fee may apply.

Cancellation Policy:

All deposits are non-refundable.

If you need to change the date of your party, then please try to do so as early as possible so we can reschedule another date and time for your party. If the party or event must be cancelled due to the birthday child’s illness then we will work with you to find an alternative party date.

In the very rate case that we are unable to conduct your party or event due to circumstances beyond our control then your party will be rescheduled or the party fee will be refunded.

Party Guest Policy:

All of our party packages have a maximum of 20 party guests (for a party with 1 performer). This total includes any other children e.g. siblings, friends or other relatives who will be joining in with the party’s games and activities. Please ask for more details if a larger number of guests will be attending, where we can provide more details on options available.

Behaviour Policy:

As the host of the birthday child’s parent or guardian you are responsible for any behaviour problems or issues during the party. If any issues do arise then it is the parent or guardian’s sole responsibility to deal with any disruptive behaviour.

At least one other adult must be present for the duration of the entire booking.

Photo Policy:

It is the organisers responsibility to ensure the children can have their photos taken, which may be used in future publicity or social media.  Please let us know in advance, if there are any children who cannot be included in photos for these reasons.  We are more than happy for you to share any photos or videos you take, please just make sure to tag Once Upon a Fairytale.

Accident or Damage Policy:

Our entertainers are not liable for any damages or injuries that may occur at any particular party or event. Any damage caused to any items of equipment or costume that belong to Once Upon a Fairytale while at the party or event may incur an additional fee to the booker of the party.

Safety Policy:

Any inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated. Our performers have the right to leave if at any point they feel threatened, harassed or unsafe with no refund given.
